Japanese Makes Most Popular with US Online Shoppers

An interesting report by the LA Times shows Japanese cars are what American car shoppers research when deciding what to buy. On the top twenty list from Kelley’s Blue Book, only three American models made the list: the Ford Escape (#12), the Ford Mustang (#16), and the Chevrolet Malibu (#17). This compares to fifteen models on the list from Japanese makers Honda, Toyota, Nissan, and Mazda. 2008 is the fifth year that the Honda Civic, Accord, and the Toyota Camry occupied the top three spots on the list.
